Burlington County, NJ is seeking a Director to manage the operations of the Office of Human Resources. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of human resources for a 1,500 employee Civil Service Local government entity including retention; recruitment; training and employee development; labor relations; performance management, and experience in resolving discipline and grievance matters.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a customer focus and will establish and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with various department heads, colleagues and employees. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, with an advanced degree or other HR certifications desirable, and have at least 3-5 years of experience in an organization that subscribes to HR best practices and strategies.
