More road resurfacing work is scheduled to start next week in Burlington County, this time on a portion of Hartford Road.
On Tuesday, June 4, pavement milling and overlay work is expected to start on a 2.6-mile section of Hartford Road, also known as County Route 686, in the area between Route 537 in Mount Laurel and Garwood Drive in Moorestown. The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete.
Traffic will be maintained through the work area, but motorists using the road will likely experience delays and are advised to seek an alternative route.
The work on Hartford Road is being done by Black Rock Enterprises and is part of the Couty’s annual road resurfacing program.
Almost 37 miles of roadway in 15 Burlington County municipalities is expected to be resurfaced through a combination of State and County funding.
