Enjoy coffee and refreshments while listening to music by Donna Feldman. Discover the art of Crankie Theater with a hands-on workshop presented by Maisie O’Brien. Make one of your own or just play with our giant crankie. No Registration Required.

What are crankies you ask? They are an old storytelling art form. Start with a long, illustrated scroll that is wound onto two spools. The spools are loaded into a box that has a viewing window. The scroll is then hand-cranked while the story is told, a song is sung, or a tune is played.
