Virtua Health Safe Syringe Program
To find the location nearest you, call toll-free 1-888-virtua3 (1-888-847-8823) Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Click Here For Safe Syringe Disposal Options
Participants receive a sterile, durable container to dispose of used sharps. Syringes fit into the container without the needle needing to be broken or recapped. When the container is full, return it to the Virtua health location where it was obtained and receive a new container. Virtua ensures that the syringes are disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner. There may be a minimal one-time fee.
