Our Programs

  • GPS based assistive technology tracking devices are provided to those who may wander from home and become lost.

Child Safety Seat Program

  • Parents are educated on the proper use of child seats and checkpoints are operated to inspect and teach caregivers to install safety seats properly. Children are also taught in elementary school the importance of riding in a booster seat.

Defensive Driving

Persons At-Risk

  • For persons with diminished mental abilities that are prone to wandering, families/guardians may voluntarily register a photo and contact information so they may be returned safely home. REGISTRATION FORM

Photo Identification (NON-GOVERNMENT)

  • Our unit offers Senior Citizen, Veteran, Attorney, and Hope One IDs. These are non-government ID's and CANNOT be used as a form of identification for operating a vehicle or for international and domestic travel.

Our Events

Junior Police Academy

  • These academies happen twice a year, in the spring and fall.
  • The Junior Police Academy is for 7 to 12-year-olds to participate in activities designed to educate them about safety and crime prevention.

Veterans Expo

  • The Veteran Expo is intended for military members who have served in our armed forces. This expo is to ensure that our service members are aware of the benefits that they may be eligible to receive. This year the Veteran Expo will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025! Senior Services Unit

The Senior Services Unit is an extension of the Community Outreach Unit. This unit provides numerous programs, presentations, and services to the senior citizens throughout Burlington County.   • 911 Cell Phone Program

    • Free cellular phones that are disabled and only for emergency use for senior citizens.
  • Home Security - Printable Application

    • Free home security inspections and safety modifications are provided to seniors sixty years of age or older who reside in our county.
  • Senior Citizens Police Academy

    • This academy happens twice a year, in the spring and the fall.
    • A 6-week informational program on various crime prevention and law enforcement topics is provided for interested Burlington County senior citizens.
  • Senior Expo

    • This annual event brings local agencies who serve seniors together to provide information in a face-to-face setting
