Internal Affairs Unit

The Sheriff’s Internal Affairs Unit is supervised by the Undersheriff who is tasked in accepting and investigating any police misconduct complaint that may be reported by a member of the public against a sworn member of the Sheriff’s Office. Each allegation is thoroughly and impartially investigated, and the results of the investigation are forwarded to the Sheriff for appropriate action.
