Purpose Statement:
The purpose of this job is to provide technical expertise and support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of multinetwork, multiuser Local Area Networks (LANs, Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN), and/or Wide Area Networks (WAN) within the County.
Key Activities:
This is an intermediate level position within the IT department that supports the network infrastructure, network security, and data integrity.
Plans and installs software updates and patches to network operating systems, server-based applications, and centralized services.
Plans and installs hardware upgrades for network servers, gateways, and associated telecommunication devices.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation for network hardware/software.
Configures and troubleshoots network devices and network client software installations and updates.
Administers user access to network resources and adds/modifies/deletes user accounts for file/print and dial-in servers.
Diagnoses and repairs or coordinates repair of network hardware.
Monitors performance of servers and possibly telecommunications devices.
Provides technical support to end users.
SharePoint 2013 Administration and troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V, Exchange 2010, System Center 2012 software, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Windows 7 and Microsoft Office Products.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree.
Must live or move into Burlington County within one year of hired date.
