BURLINGTON COUNTY BOARD OF CHOSEN FREEHOLDERS NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE USE OF COUNTY-OWNED PROPERTY FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT SERVICES The Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders Is seeking proposals for the use of a County-owned building and surrounding two acres of land in Pemberton Township for operation of a substance abuse treatment facility. Residential and nonresidential programs may be pursued at the facility. The building was significantly improved and expanded in 2006-2007 and now has a 49-bed capacity. The successful proposer will be responsible for all costs pertaining to use of the property and program operations. It is responsible for securing any and all licenses and permits that may be required for program operation. The building may only be used for this purpose. The selected company will enter into a use agreement with the County for a period of five (5) years. The agreement will include an option for the County to renew the term of the use agreement for up to two additional five-year terms and one additional four-year term. The County will provide no funding for the programs or for maintenance or repair of the facility. The Proposer selected to occupy the building will be responsible for paying the County a fee for use of the building on an annual basis.
