Ampitheather website

Freeholder Deputy Director Balvir Singh announced that Burlington County is hosting the summer concert series on Friday and Saturday nights starting June 28 through August 24 at the Burlington County Amphitheater.

“Join us for opening night of the summer concert season! These free concerts are a great way to get out and enjoy great entertainment right here in Burlington County,” said Freeholder Deputy Director Balvir Singh, liaison to the Department of Resource Conservation. “We have a great line-up of bands to enjoy, so make sure to bring your family and friends!”

The concerts are held at the Burlington County Amphitheater, which is located adjacent to the Burlington County Library in Westampton. The amphitheater is home to a vast variety of talent during the summer concert series. All concerts are free. Local, acoustic entertainment begins at 5:30 p.m. Headliners begin at 7 p.m. with one intermission.

Gates open at 4 p.m. and chairs and blankets are permitted. Refreshments will be available for sale. No alcoholic beverages or tobacco products permitted.

The Classic Stones will be kicking-off our summer concert series on Friday, June 28. Their jaw-dropping resemblance to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards is simply amazing, but what truly makes Classic Stones unique is their musical prowess and the spot-on renditions of all your favorite Rolling Stones “classics”!

On Saturday, June 29, attendees can look forward to an enjoyable interpretation of the music of the Eagles, bar none! This group of excellent musicians expertly and authentically recreates the songs, the music, the vocals and the magical aura of one of America’s greatest rock bands. So, grab a chair and “Take it Easy” with live music under the stars!

In the event of inclement weather, performances will move to the Burlington County Institute of Technology. Decisions to move indoors are posted by 3 p.m. at http://www.co.burlington.nj.us/935/Amphitheater.
