Alice Paul Institute Archeology

Saturday, February 8, 2020

Michael Burns, after getting permission from the Alice Paul Institute, searched the six-acre Paulsdale property using his metal detector.  Over 18 months, he found various artifacts from the 18th to the 20th century including a civil war button and a copper ring. This presentation will showcase his finds as well as the history of Paulsdale. Michael Burns is a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor with over 36 years of experience. He is also a member of the South Jersey Metal Detecting Club, The Surveyors Association of West Jersey and the Mount Laurel Historical Society. Registration requested.
