2018 Annual Festivals
SUNDAY, JUNE 10 ~ Burlington County's Annual Earth Fair returns each year to Historic Smithville Park featuring vendors, entertainment for all ages, and kids’ activities with an environmental twist. This family event focuses on ways to protect and enjoy our environment. Children's activities will include trash sculpting, paper making, storytelling, environmental vaudeville, face painting…and more. Be sure to check out the art exhibits in the Worker’s House & Gallery and the Smithville Mansion Annex Gallery. There will be “Green” vendors, artists, crafters, activity providers and performers that have an earth-friendly theme.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 ~ Arts in the Park - Enjoy an eclectic mix of entertainment on three stages, including music, dance, theater and storytelling. Guests are encouraged to engage in free interactive activities, such as Chalk the Walk, Paint the Mural and Clothesline Art Workshop. Artists of all levels will have an opportunity to showcase their skills. The Smithville Mansion Annex Gallery will host the Annual Juried Art Exhibit. There will be fine art vendors, artisan crafters, art-related activities, performers and a beer garden. The full schedule is available now!
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14 ~ A free, family float festival at Smithville Park! Canoe/Kayak on the Rancocas Creek or Smithville Lake and see the fall foliage as you float along. Residents decorate their docks and hope to win your vote as you float! Launching takes place at Historic Smithville Park. Paddlers will be shuttled back to Smithville Park for food, entertainment and activities for all ages. Enjoy the park on a fun-filled Autumn day! Scarecrows on Parade
will be displayed for the month of October. Join us for our Annual Scarecrows on Parade. Every year the Scarecrows are a huge hit with visitors to Smithville Park. We invite organizations, businesses, clubs and individuals to participate by creating their own family-friendly scarecrow. A small registration fee is required. SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2 ~ Victorian Holiday Event - Join us to kick off the Holiday Season at Historic Smithville Park complete with a visit from St. Nick, who will arrive in the afternoon. Festivities will include ice carving demonstrations, tours of Smithville Mansion decorated for the holidays, entertainment, kids’ activities, and a holiday marketplace where you can purchase unique gifts. Expect to see Victorian performers, activities, re-enactors and vendors during this holiday event. The Historic Smithville Mansion will be fully decorated and open for tours all afternoon. Carolers sing your holiday favorites throughout the park. Stop by for some s'mores and hot cocoa by the fire. Lookout for that grinchy Grinch!
