Clerk of the Board

The Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners provides the County Commissioners Board with support, information and materials on those matters requiring the Board’s attention.

The Clerk of the Board keeps minutes and an official record of the resolutions and actions of the Board. The position keeps all official documents and papers relating to the business of the County.

The functions of the Clerk of the Board include:

  • Recording the official minutes of the Board
  • Manage Board correspondence
  • Prepare and Distribute meeting agendas
  • Process and advertise Board information, meetings, resolutions and the county budget
  • Liaison between the public and the Board
