Burlington County is home to many exhibits that feature Fine Arts and Photography from all of over the region. In addition to art exhibits throughout the year, individual art programs are held in the parks. A celebration of the arts is held each September with the Arts in the Park Festival at Smithville Park. This large festival showcases art, dance, theater and music.
Smithville Mansion Annex Gallery
The Smithville Mansion Annex Gallery is located on the second floor of Historic Smithville Mansion. It served as Hezekiah Smith's play room during the late 1800s. Currently it features a variety of juried art and photography exhibitions throughout the year along with a special show of selected works from the Burlington County Teen Arts Festival held each year in March. Workers House Gallery
The Workers House Gallery is looking to display textile-based exhibits (e.g. quilting, tilework/mosaic, glass, crocheting/knitting, needlework, jewelry, functional works, historical collections, etc.) and/or group/solo fine art exhibitions. Underground Railroad Museum
The Underground Railroad Museum celebrated its Grand Opening in February, 2017. The museum is now located at 10/11 Park Avenue in Historic Smithville Park and is open for tours Friday-Sunday.
Warden's House Gallery
The Warden's House Gallery, adjacent to the Burlington County Prison Museum in Mount Holly is home to the Hugh H. Campbell Art Collection. Campbell's paintings and drawings chronicle the history of Mount Holly during the mid-20th century.
